Mindful Resilience
Our courses and sessions support you to build strong foundations inside yourself and cultivate a kind and friendly curiosity towards your inner experience.
At Yellow Beacon, we hold space for you to develop a range of mindfulness skills to respond more creatively and resourcefully in everyday life, and in situations you may find challenging or overwhelming.
We also help you to develop an everyday mindful awareness, supporting you to soak in the positive moments in life, and to learn to really grow these traits inside yourself.
Mindful Resilience is a mindfulness-based approach supporting you to bring mindfulness easily and effortlessly into your everyday routine.
With this in mind, the practices we teach are simple, accessible, and brief, with the capacity to develop into longer periods of planned meditation practice if you wish.
The great thing about learning mindfulness is that you can’t get it wrong!
Whatever we are experiencing in a given moment is simply what’s happening, whether it feels pleasant, unpleasant, or neutral. Knowing this allows us to bring a curiosity to our own experience as it unfolds, with a sense of kindness and friendliness towards ourselves.
The emphasis is on approaching life with a mindful awareness as a way of being, to support you to develop a strong sense of who you are, and how you interact with yourself and the world.
We actively work with the window of tolerance as a way to explore and understand our inner experience, the ways in which mindfulness can help us to widen our window, and also how we discern which practice will be most helpful for us in any given moment.
The skills and tools we teach are designed for both individual and group sessions. They are suitable for shorter periods of learning or longer courses.
We work in a trauma-informed, responsive way to meet your needs, empowering you to build your own personal toolkit and find out what truly works for you on your own individual journey.
